Parker have just announced their Voice of the Machine IoT platform, which provides an open, interoperable and scaleable ecosystem of connected products to help with proactive maintenance, reduce unplanned downtime and optimise performance.

Dell
Exhibiting with Dell IoT Partner Program member Opto22, Dell is demonstrating how to integrate and deliver edge computing applications and connect real-world signals and industrial ‘things’ to the digital world of information technology, mobile and cloud computing. The partnership between both companies aims to bridge the gap between operations technology (OT) and information technology (IT).

Honeywell Process Solutions
Honeywell announced their Matrikon FLEX OPC Unified Architecture SDK in Hannover, which allows industry manufacturers, commercial customers and OEMs to quickly implement optimised and reliable IoT-connected solutions to compete in the Industrie 4.0 landscape.

Bayshore Networks
Bayshore are showcasing their Industrial Cyber Protection Platform and also announced that they are a founding member of the EdgeX Foundry, an open source project to build a common framework for IoT edge computing. Bayshore are partnering with a wide range of well-respected software giants to deliver an ecosystem of secure, interoperable components that will accelerate enterprise IoT deployment.

Schneider Electric
Not wanting to be left out, Schneider have announced a partnership with Microsoft Azure to accelerate delivery of cloud-based IoT solutions to all of Schneider’s user segments through the EcoStruxure architecture. Coupling the open design of EcoStruxure with the computational power of Azure, Schneider aims to provide clients with new mixed reality capabilities, including digital holograms, enhanced UX and prescriptive actions.

Cisco Systems
Cisco have unveiled three new additions to their Connected Factory portfolio, looking to drive a new wave of smart manufacturing with the launch of a Time Sensitive Networking feature, a Connected Asset Manager for IoT intelligence and an Industrial Network Director. Working with partners Rockwell Automation, Intel, Panduit and more, they claim that there’s ‘never been a better time to securely digitise manufacturing’.
